Help a Dog Transition From Rescue to Home
Some dogs need more than a kennel. They need a home.
Medical Mutts foster homes help rescue dogs decompress, build confidence, and prepare for their future, whether that’s service dog training, adoption, or continued evaluation.
By opening your home, you become part of a dog’s transformation.

WHAT MAKES A GREAT FOSTER HOME?
You don’t need professional dog training experience to foster with Medical Mutts. Most successful foster homes simply provide patience, consistency, structure, and a safe environment.
Ideal foster homes typically have:
A calm and dog-friendly environment
All household members on board
Willingness to use positive reinforcement
Time for daily interaction and routine
Can attend orientation at Medical Mutts
A quiet or separate area when needed
A fenced area is helpful but not required

Our team works closely with foster homes throughout the process and helps match dogs based on lifestyle, experience and comfort level
