Adopt a Pet Dog

Bring home one of our career change dogs who is seeking a loving home, and embark on a journey of companionship and positive change through adoption.

Find Your Perfect Companion

At Medical Mutts, we understand that not every dog is cut out to be a service dog. Service dogs require a special set of skills to navigate various environments and situations, and we prioritize the well-being and comfort of our canine companions. If a dog doesn’t show the necessary traits for service work, we never force them into that role.

When we determine that a dog is better suited as a loving pet, we make the decision to release them for adoption. Our carefully selected dogs are known for their friendly and sociable nature, thriving on love and attention. They are easily trainable and eager to please. The length of training they receive depends on their stay with us, ranging from a few weeks to several months. Throughout their time with us, they continue to receive ongoing training until we find them a suitable forever home.

The reasons for releasing a dog for adoption can vary, such as nervousness in public, prey drive, reactivity to other dogs, or hip dysplasia, among other factors. While these dogs cannot be trained as service dogs, they possess all the qualities to become cherished companions for the right person.

If you’re seeking a loyal and affectionate pet, consider adopting one of our remarkable dogs. By providing a loving home, you’ll give them the second chance they deserve.
